First of all let's start with this...we're kids! That's right, Ungar/Madison Productions is run by two college age young men. Ben Barber and David DeAngelis have come together and formed this non-profit theatre/film company. Why? Well I suppose the best way to describe it is this: We love theatre and we love everything associated with theatre. However, we didn't like being forced to do what the "adults" wanted us to do, so we decided to make our own group and our own rules! Thus, Ungar/Madison Productions was born. I think our main goal is to provide a place for young people to go to perform in community theatre, and to put on great shows with our own way of doing them, but still ALWAYS keeping to the original intention of the show and most of all, always keeping the integrity of the show at the highest it can be. See, we don't like when people tamper with scripts and change things about the story. That's not how the author intended it to be, and that's exactly what we're for-keeping the show to what the creators wanted!

In trying to become as professional as possible, we formed a Production Team. We teamed up with some of our friends (and some family) and formed the team with: David L. DeAngelis, Jr., Aurelia DeAngelis, Jennifer Dwyer, and Julie Dumas. This is an enormous asset to the company to ensure that we make the fairest, and best decisions possible in all that we do.

Another thing we've liked to do is to incorporate stage acting, and film acting. We are also involved with producing movies--both original, and sometimes versions of the shows that we do. To do this we have teamed up with some of the greatest film teams we know. They also happen to be our dear friends and fellow actors. Anyways, that's what we're all about-friends working together doing what they love, and yes of course, having fun doing it...
